Picture Update

For now, it’s all I have time for.

Thank goodness she also naps!

Lindiana Joan

Lindy’s here. She’s cute. And she’s destructive. It’s like having a second toddler. I’m outnumbered!!!

Don’t be fooled by her sleepy appearance. She’s just recharging for more trouble!

She loves her boys, but they move too fast to get a decent picture. I’m working on it. For now, check out our snowy day transportation. We’ve only used it once this winter, but they loved it.

Piles of cousins!

Hey, there’s one missing from that picture… Let’s try that again.

Now, everyone in a line from smallest to tallest, ready, go!

Not too bad, but not everyone was looking at the camera.

Well, maybe if the adults all crowd in and hold the smallish people…
Christmas 2011

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year to all!

And many hugs and smiles, too. We had a great trip out to see my family. It was a bit of a circus, but that is what makes it fun. Can’t wait to do it again!

Knock, knock

We’ve been working on knock knock jokes lately, but Nathan still doesn’t quite have the hang of it. Here are a couple of my favorites that he has shared recently…

Knock, knock
Who’s there?
Boo, who?
Boo, orange you glad I didn’t say banana?

Knock, knock
Who’s there?
Orange, who?
Don’t cry it’s just a knock knock joke!

Knock, knock
Who’s there?
Cow, who?
Cow eyeball!

Thank you to cousin Agibail for that last one, it’s a new favorite. Yes, Nathan does still call her Agibail instead of Abigail, and yes, now we all do too.

In case you don’t care about today’s other post…

Here’s a challenge. We’re getting a lab puppy in February. If all goes as planned, she will be a she and she will be a black, not chocolate or yellow. So what should we name her? Mike is voting for Henrietta (so he can call her Henry). I’m voting for Clio (as in the Muse of History, not the advertising awards) or Georgia (so I can call her George). Evan’s name came from blog comments (thank you, Jill!), so why not puppy’s name?

ready, go!
