That’s the new Nathan noise. He makes the most adorable fish face as he works out the noise-making and I never get tired of watching him do it. I can’t wait until next week when we’ll be home with my family and there will be several of us to exclaim over him for TEN WHOLE DAYS!
I need to post some Thanksgiving pictures to show you all just how much Nathan is adored by everyone. It was completely worth the hours of driving to watch the Harris clan ooh and aah over the little guy. Oh, and to watch him gobble it all up and beg for more. What a fun day. Good food, great company, and one fabulous aunt willing to change and clean a poosplosion in the middle of dinner!
In other news, it looks like I’ll be going back to school in the summer. Turns out my degree is useless for finding a new job with a more stable future. But with 10.5 short months of classes, I can get a post baccalaureate certificate that will allow me to get a similar job with a good career path in an area that should continue to grow even in the bad economy. Now I’m working on not panicking about it. You see, my job ends on March 1 and school doesn’t start until July 13. Anyone have a job for me just for March through July? and then a part time one from July 13 until December? Since this is a “critical need” job, I will get a stipend while I am in school, but there are three and a half months there that aren’t really covered. But before I get too far ahead of myself, I also have to get into the program. I am scheduled for an interview on Friday.
From 1:30 until 4pm. TWO AND A HALF HOURS?!
That’s one heck of an interview.
I just have one question.
How do I make sure that Nathan sleeps through the night tomorrow night so that I can be charming and brilliant for two and a half hours on Friday afternoon?
